Notes :We do not believe in over vaccinating -over loading the puppy with tons of shots it may not need.
However we have NEVER lost a puppy to any disease and we want to keep it that way
IF you have Lepto, Corona ,Lyme in your area then after the pup gets to you please vaccinate for these.
You will have have to get shots every 3 weeks until 16 weeks 2-3 sets after you get a young puppy.
Last minute pick up is not allowed unless the Vet Visit is done....
House Breaking Tips
These pups are born in the house and moved outside with livestock at a later date.
Because without the full time socialization around humans they do not able to function in today's homes.
So they are bedded down on shavings inside the house and in the barn.
So taking a few shavings into one area will help them find one spot they should go into.
We use newspapers and wee wee pads inside the house and they start using them as early as 4 wks.
At 5 weeks they start using the doggie door to go outside on to the deck and 6 wks to the farm.
So a doggie door is recommended for Pet owners to make life easier .
Only draw back is in our Winter litters the pups don't see grass thus they have a habit of picking the back deck vs the grass until they know what grass is.
NEVER yell at your CAS pup or hit it with a rolled up paper. You break that trust you will never regain it.
Just use your happy voice all the time and when they do something wrong say WHAT DID YOU DO?
They know the tones of your voice well and will pick up on it.
Spay ~ Neuter:
Females recommended 9 months to 12 Months
Can do as early as you wish not early that 9 months is preferred .
Unless a situation arises that a unplanned litter is at risk.
All our Pet Females sold are required to be Spayed _ unless otherwise specified.
Neuter we do NOT require yo to neuter your male-=
Co Contracts on Breeding dogs: ?
We DO NOT require you to ever breed the dog.
We DO NOT require you to give the dog back to us for breeding.
It Does allow you to fix the dog any time you wish or keep intact & show the dog to a stud position.
With few exceptions lost lines etc.
You must complete the list of proving the dog before breeding.
For females u must have buyers before you breed and you must have room to take them back.
And time to talk to them like I do for u. I do not have the time to spend more on the tel with other litters than my own. Contract statest clearly you own the dog & take fully legal responsibility for it.
The only part we co own is the reproduction. not the pups that come out of the breeding.
But we picked you to breed our dogs cause you will be carefull to protect our lines.
If you dogs wind up in shelters I will refuse to SIGN any future breedings.
