This year my nightmares came true. My dreams of breeding only the best are gone.
I bred Cozemo 5 years ago to a bitch down in Georgia with later rated OFA Fair Hips, no clearances on elbows
bred by a puppymill. Owned by a seemingly southern lady.. I learned DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.
She got her Vet to write a report that the Hips LOOK "good" what a crock about "team of Vets"
Angel X Coz produced Hip(double severe), Elbow ,Shoulder Dysphasia- & 4 Cases of ACL tears dogs - 3 required surgery.
3 that needed surgery were PETS not WORKING dogs.
Angel Dam ORCA has it + Angel has NO Elbow ratings, is NOT a working dog & OFA Fair VS
Coz Is a working dog from working parents with clearances on both Hips & Elbows
Plus not 1 but 3 Hip Clearances from GDC OVC and OFA.
Yet in his conformation the only negative I see is his strait shoulder which could produce shoulder issues.
Mind you the breeder of this litter has PERFECT dogs NOTHING is her fault or wrong with any of them
Instead of spaying the female she kept that was crippled by ACL -the bitch was fixed via $4,000 surgery & bred.
Forced to carry a huge litter even before her Vet advised one year rest period was over.
Breeding dogs were SOLD despite LIES by the breeder that all stock will remain with her for future testing.
So that is it the damage is done we now have surgically corrected CAS .
This breed is going down the same road as many breeds who are imported to the USA.
Show dogs corrected by surgery to breed and win and make money for the breeder.
What's done is done - and now on top of all this the 2nd generation from this line bred by the same has doubled up on severe temperament issues. Resulting in many dogs being put to sleep and to be cared for full time by medication . Our Mountain top Justice Angel Grandkid Royal Gift of Asia Sire ~ is removed from any possible breeding due to this issue. The breeder has stated that if he had known about the health issues in the line or the fact they he asked for a working line and got a fighting line he would NEVER of bred that litter of CASD.
So no matter what I DO this unethical breeder will have the last word.
I only hope Karma works it way back to humans who use dogs for ego or money.
his working breed is turning into a human engineered show dog as we speak.
Soon we will have dogs with missing testicles being corrected by plastic surgery to get into a ring.

PS Ive been told this breeder who paid $10,000 for a retired show dog is now stuck with 3 litters of puppies .
And needs to throw our name out there to get our respected buyers . SHAME SHAME.
